WiFi connected
Using a computer based oscilloscope was never easier than with the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS: simply switch it on and start the software on the computer:
- no power cables required as it is battery powered and can operate hours on a fully charged battery
- no interface cables required as it uses WiFi to connect to the computer
This allows you to measure fully floating, fully isolated from your computer. The Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS can be placed near any test subject that may be hard to reach, or on moving objects, where wired connections are not possible.
Because the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS is not connected to the computer, there is no risk of damaging the computer.
LAN connected
When measuring in remote locations where a wired network is available, the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS can also be used through its LAN port. Measurements can then be performed from any location via the network, without having the computer to be close to the test subject.
Using its 1 Gbit LAN connection, the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS can achieve higher streaming performance than via WiFi.
USB 3.0 connected
When wireless measuring or LAN connected measuring is not required or not possible, the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS can also be connected via its USB3 port. This gives the benefit of even higher streaming performance. Additionally, when connected via USB, the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS can be combined with oscilloscopes via its CMI interface.
This powerful automotive WiFi oscilloscope combines fast sampling up to 1 GSa/s with high resolutions of 12, 14 and 16 bit and a large memory of 64 Mpoints per channel with four differential channels. Additionally, the automotive WiFi oscilloscope supports continuous streaming measurements up to 200 MSa/s.
The Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS is delivered with SureConnect connection test and resistance measurement on each channel.
Rugged industrial design
The Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS features a rugged design. Its enclosure is fitted with rubber protectors at the front and the rear. These protect the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS against damage by mechanical shocks. The rubber helps absorbing shocks and protects the connectors at the front and the rear of the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS, these fall within the protected zone.
Additionally, the rubber prevents your Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS from sliding. The rubber protectors have special notches that simplify stacking instruments. Holes are included that allow to connect a strap to hang the instrument near the test subject.
Safe measuring
The Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS is a four channel automotive oscilloscope with differential inputs. With the differential inputs it is possible to measure four totally unrelated signals simultaneously. It is no longer possible to create a short circuit through the oscilloscope or through a second device connected to your computer and to the car, like e.g. a fault code scanner. So no risk of damaging the car, the oscilloscope or the computer.
SureConnect
Tiepie Engineering USB Devices Driver Download For Windows
The SureConnect connection test feature of the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS tells you immediately whether your test probe or clip actually makes electrical contact or not. No more doubt whether your probe doesn't make contact or there really is no signal.
This is useful when surfaces are oxidized and your probe cannot get a good electrical contact. Simply activate the SureConnect and you know whether there is contact or not. Also when back probing connectors in confined places, SureConnect immediately shows whether the probes make contact or not.
SureConnect is default available on each channel of the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS.
Resistance measurement
Many automotive sensors are based on variable resistors. Use your Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS in the resistance setting to test them, no more need to take a separate ohm meter. Resistance values can be displayed as a number, but it is also possible to display the resistance variation in time, in a graph.
The unique Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS Ohm scope is the first fast automotive Ohm scope in its class.
Large memory
When measuring at high sample rates, a large memory is necessary to be able to record a complete signal in the acquisition buffer. Where most oscilloscopes have 2.5 kpoints or 100 kpoints memory, the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS has up to 256 Mpoints memory per channel. An advantage of a large memory is that once-only fast phenomena can be captured accurately or complete serial communication signal blocks can be measured all at once.
High accuracy
The Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS measures with high resolutions of 14 and 16 bit. A signal measured with the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS therefore has 256 times more resolution than most standard automotive oscilloscopes, which usually have a low resolution of 8 or 9 bit. The input circuit of the Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS has a high accuracy of 0.25 % of the full scale input range, where most standard automotive oscilloscopes have an accuracy of 2 - 3 % of the full scale range. The precision Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS allows for measuring signals with much more accuracy.

Q: 'The Backuptrans software could not find my Android connected. Why?'
A: Please ensure that you have an Android device connected and the device has USB debugging enabled.
For detail, please check the tutorial on how to enable USB debugging on Android.
Q: 'What Backuptrans software can do when it detects Android?'
A: After successfully connected your Android Phone to Backuptrans software, you can easy backup, restore and transfer Android data such as SMS & MMS, Contacts, WhatsApp chats, Line messages, Photos, Videos, Call logs, App data etc.
Q: 'My device has USB debugging enabled but the Backuptrans software still get Android connection problem'
A: Some Android devices require USB driver software to be installed on Microsoft Windows in order to connect to a PC properly. If the USB driver for android is not automatically installed by Windows, please install the manufacturer provided 'ADB' drivers for your mobile phone that allow it to connect to your PC. The following Android USB drivers are collected by Backuptrans and will be updated to the latest. You can simply download the driver installer files from the following links to install on your Windows computer.
Note: You don't need to install any additional USB driver if you are using Windows 10.
